Hungary Automotive Supplier Opens Birmingham Office Michael Wayland, The Detroit News

On Wednesday, automotive supplier NNG LLC announced that it will be opening its new North American Automotive offices in Birmingham, this is according to AutomotiveNews. This is the latest move from NNG LLC which is looking at expanding in other parts of the country so as to increase its presence.  

 

Known to be a Hungary-Based company, NNG LLC usually specializes in software which is specifically targeted for automotive navigation system and infotainment.

 

The new offices, according to the company, will house a number of its employees including the company’s senior executives in their North American branch, supply chain, sales and marketing management and lastly engineering support teams.

 

A spokesman for the company was quoted saying that the company is working on growing its occupancy from 5 to 12 so as to effectively support all its operations.     

 

While speaking about their new planned offices in Birmingham, the company’s vice president of business development, Jim Robnett, in a statement, said that, “The North American market remains a significant opportunity for NNG and will be a critical proving ground for our new technologies.”

 

“Suburban Detroit is the focal point of the automotive industry. Robnett, a former director of Chrysler’s (now FCA US) Uconnect infotainment systems, will lead the Metro Detroit office at 320 Martin. The company’s award-winning iGO Navigation Software is currently installed in more than 20 million devices worldwide with more than 30 million signed orders from 34 global car brands.”
