The New York International Auto Show ran from Friday, March 25th to Sunday, April 3rd and took place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center which is between 34th – 40th Street and 11th Avenue in New York City.

 

The NY Auto Show was open for almost 12 hours during the day from 10 in the morning to 10 at night, for the whole week until Saturday.

 

The gallery featured a variety of cars launched by different car companies across the globe. Two of the cars featured in this year's show were: 

Dodge Viper is a luxury sports car that is manufactured by Dodge, which is a division of Chrysler. It retails between MSRP $87,895 - $118,795. The MSRP does not include sales tax, title, and registration fees. It has a horsepower of 645hp and its curb weight is 3,374 to 3,415 lbs. It has an 8.4 litre V10 engine. It can hit an astounding 60 mph in approximately three seconds. Its MPG is 12/21 (12 - city & 21 - highway). It is rated it 3/5 and The Car Connection give it a rating of 8/10.

 

The Mercedes G Class SUV

 

Mercedes G-Class SUV retails at an MSRP starting from $119,900. It has a curb weight of 5,724 lbs with a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine. It can reach 100kmph in 5.4 seconds and its top speed is quoted to be 210 kmph. This sports utility vehicle has a fuel tank capacity of 25.4 gallons. It is rated 4/5 and Edmunds.com gives it a total rating of 5/5.
