For the final pre-season GP2 series test, drivers have struggled for the best time possible on the hot asphalt of the Bahrain International Circuit. All team had attended the three day session which took place before the first race of the season.
As those three days showcased the strength of the series, Alexander Rossi had no trouble bringing the spotlight upon him. He offered a great performance and managed to get placed among the firsts with top drivers just tenths of a second apart. So, it’s clear that the competition will be a strong one and he is more than ready to face his rivals. In spite of high temperatures and a dusty track, Alexander completed ten laps within 1:42.801 seconds in the first day. His second performance marked the time of 1:41.341s and becoming used to the track he ended the third day with an amazing score of 1:39,715s. After the great struggle of the competitors, Alexander was clearly deserved to be placed first obtaining the best lap time of 1:45.565 after no less than 58 laps, more than any other driver.
His team, Racing Engineering is now preparing for the 2015 GP2 series, which will took place in Bahrain from the 17th to 19th of April.
