Safety Requirements

On the morning of every event, all participating cars will need to pass a basic technical inspection.  You will be provided a technical inspection form when you arrive and check in with registration.  You may also download this form here. (PDF)

Basic Safety Requirements
•    All drivers and passengers must be at least 18 years old
•    Functioning Seatbelt/Harness (OEM 3-Point permitted)
•    No visible leaks, electrical shorts or missing lugnuts
•    No cracks in windshield or sunroof
•    Battery properly secured
•    DOT or SN rated helmet with functioning strap
•    Seat must be fully bolted to chassis
•    Driving compartment must be free of loose items & trash
•    Assigned pit space must be clean of spills, debris and trash upon exit

GS Additional Safety
•    Passengers allowed - Other drivers or registered crew/guests
•    Drifting corners is allowed on GS track - At discretion of staff
•    Roll Cage required for advanced lapping (close proximity lapping)
•    Fire Extinguisher required for advanced lapping
•    Excessive off-track excursions will result in mandatory break to cool down  


DS Additional Safety
•    Passengers allowed - Other drivers or registered crew/guests
•    Roll cage required for tandem drifting (close proximity drift)
•    Fire extinguisher required for tandem drifting
•    Excessive spins or off-track excursions result in mandatory cool down

*Safety harnesses and fire extinguishers are not required but recommended.
